document.write("Alice and David Mihm (who all true Mihmiverse fans know as Evelyn Johnson and Butch, respectively) have created a GoFundMe campaign to help them realize their curling dreams!
David and Alice (Team Mihm/Mihm) are seeking to qualify for U21 Nationals in juniors mixed doubles curling! Their main goal is to compete in the two upcoming 2025/26 season qualifying events, place in at least the top four (which will secure a berth in the 2026 U21 Mixed Doubles event), and, ultimately, win the title and move on to worlds! In addition, they plan on playing in multiple juniors- and open-mixed doubles tournaments & bonspiels to hone their skills and, ideally, come out victorious.
The purpose of their GoFundMe is to help offset some of the costs associated with their ambitious goal. First, they would like to obtain new, high-quality uniforms. Qualifying events, U21 Nationals, bonspiels, and tournaments all require entry fees which can cost as much as $500 per event. Many of these events require travel and, with that, come associated costs like food, transportation, and lodging. Brooms & curling shoes need to be maintained and broom heads need to be replaced for every event. In addition, U21 competitive events mandate the use of specialized, more expensive broom heads.
Alice and David have both been awarded the "Up & Coming Curler" award from their coaches at the St. Paul Curling Club. The award is given to the curler who not only shows great improvement year-to-year, it also celebrates those who demonstrate a deep understanding of the ins-and-outs of the sport. Alice and David also both received the highly coveted "Kyle Satrom Sportsmanship Award," a peer-determined honor given to those who truly exemplify the generosity and respectful spirit of curling!
The team plans to create a special team T-shirt that will be available to the general public and include the names of everyone who pledges at least $50 to the GoFundMe! Shirts will be available for purchase online following the conclusion of the fundraiser. They will also send one free T-shirt to every individual who donates at least $100! Donations of $500 or more qualify to have the donor's name (or company logo) featured on the official jerseys worn by the team at all events!
FROM ALICE... My name is Alice Mihm and I've been curling for about seven years, two of them competitively. David and I previously competed in U21 Mixed Doubles Nationals in 2024 and plan on playing in the Duluth and Portage qualifiers this coming season. Together, we compliment each other's personalities, styles, and strengths within the game. But, to make our team a real success, we'll need the help of our lovely community along the way. Reaching the top of the podium has been a dream of mine for as long as I have played this wonderful sport, and I know with David by my side and your generous support, we can make it come true!
FROM DAVID... Hi! My name is David Mihm. I'm a competitive 15-year-old curler who really got into the sport in 2021 and, since then, have never looked back. My sister and I have been playing the sport together for a while, and I guess you can say we know each other pretty well. We are trying to take the next step towards competitive curling for our age bracket, and that's U21s Mixed Doubles nationals. We firmly believe we can get to the top, but we need help in order to travel and afford places to stay while we're out of town. Hope you can help us take the next step to the ultimate goal of being the best in the world! Thank you!
The Mihm family would like to thank you in advance for your generosity in helping Team Mihm/Mihm reach their goals and realize their dreams! In the end, their overall aim is to one day walk in the footsteps of curling siblings Matt & Becca Hamilton (PyeongChang Winter Games 2018) and represent the United States at the Olympics!

One of the ways people discover the films of writer/director Christopher R. Mihm is through film festival screenings, but almost every festival out there charges an entry fee, which generally ranges from $20-$150 per film submitted—and there is no guarantee of acceptance!
The Mihmiverse has been the passion project of one very dedicated guy for over 20 years but, sadly, it's never been a particularly lucrative endeavor. As a result, film fests have been mostly financially out-of-reach. However, on those rare occasions over the years when Saint Euphoria Pictures/All for George Productions found itself with a little extra cash on-hand, it became possible to submit the films to various festivals.
A decent number of those entries were accepted and led to a handful of awards and accolades, including the coveted Forest J. Ackerman Award for "The Giant Spider" at the 2013 Famous Monsters of Filmland Film Festival, Director's Choice for "The Monster of Phantom Lake" at the 2006 ShockerFest International Film Festival, Best Actress (Amanda Tietz, "Demon with the Atomic Brain") at the 2019 CineUnderground Film Festival in Busto Arsizio, Italy, Best Mockumentary for "The Wad: The True Story Behind the Phantom Lake County Chewing Gum Disaster" at the 2024 Care Awards Film Festival, and many more!
As the Mihmiverse enters its third decade of cheesy monster movies, Mr. Mihm is looking to really expand the reach of his movie universe. One of the best ways to do that is through screenings at film fests. Unfortunately, that requires funds dedicated to the goal of submitting the films to every appropriate event that might be interested in potentially featuring them. Therefore, we have created the Mihmiverse Film Festival Fund, a donation program to allow fine folks like yourself to donate to this specific objective.
If you're interested in helping in whatever capacity you can, please do so by going HERE!
We have plans to celebrate every person who donates to the fund, but we're not quite ready to reveal EXACTLY how! It'll be a surprise, but worth it—especially if it helps get more eyes on and fans into the Mihmiverse!");

On her way home from work on January 10th, 2025, the first lady of the Mihmiverse, Stephanie Mihm, was involved in a potentially fatal car accident. By the grace of God and the power of seat belt technology, she survived, but not unscathed. Her left ankle was severely dislocated and fractured in three places, five of her ribs were broken, and her body was covered in deep bruises and lacerations. She was taken to a local hospital where they were forced to sedate her and reset her ankle. She was then taken to a Level 1 Trauma hospital where she underwent surgery to fix her ankle, which left her with many screws, pins, and plates. She was finally able to go home several days later, where she's now being lovingly taken care of and doted on by her husband and children.
Stephanie is slowly recovering every day but, due to the extent of her injuries and a medically-mandated inability to bear any weight on her ankle, she is unable to return to her job as a Special Education teacher for at least a few months. She continues to experience a decent amount of pain (five broken ribs are no joke!) and, given how difficult it is to move around, is mostly confined to her bedroom. The Mihm family car was totaled and left them with an ancient (by car standards) mini-van that's currently being held together by luck and good intentions!
With bills starting to roll in and the desperate need to replace the destroyed car, it was deemed necessary to start a GoFundMe campaign. So many wonderful people have reached out to the Mihm family and asked what they could do to help. It was decided that this was the easiest way to give everyone a way to do just that!

In writer/director Christopher R. Mihm's ode to "teensploitation" films of the 1950s and the cinematic oeuvre of the Coen Brothers, three female juvenile delinquents obtain a firearm and, just for the thrill of it, start robbing the fine folks of New Berlin. Unfortunately, their crime spree takes an unexpected turn after they mug and nearly murder the gambling-addicted pastor of the local church—who turns out to be an immortal, blood-sucking creature of the night! Hijinks ensue when the vampiric padre hires a pair of hitmen to help him retrieve his stolen cash and seek revenge against the three bad girls responsible!
Both the DVD & Blu-Ray feature a high quality digital transfer of the film, a blooper reel, two photo galleries, feature-length commentary with writer/director Christopher R. Mihm, English subtitles, and much more!
Pre-order your copy today and you'll receive it as soon as it's available, which will be on or around the date of the March 5th world premiere!

document.write("We are happy to report that the first lady of the Mihmiverse, Stephanie Mihm, was able to go home from the hospital today! She's reportedly all set up in her bedroom and feeling happy to be back, albeit overwhelmed by the experience. The Mihm family would like to extend a big thank you to everyone who lent a hand, sent food, sent Stephanie gifts and well wishes, and loaned her a comfy chair! Recovery is going to be slow and frustrating, but having her back at home with her family and alive is all that matters. There's still a lot to come, undoubtedly, and the bills haven't even hit yet, so please continue to keep Stephanie (and the entire Mihm family) in your thoughts and prayers. Lastly, don't forget that life sometimes likes to kick you in the teeth (or break your ribs and ankle), so remember to be grateful and present for every second you get with your loved ones!");

document.write("On Friday night, on her way home from work, the first lady of the Mihmiverse, Stephanie Mihm, was involved in a major car accident. She was severely injured and taken to a local hospital. Her left ankle was broken in three places, she has five broken ribs, and extensive bruising and lacerations across her chest and belly. She is currently recovering after needing surgery to put her ankle back together. She is in a rather large amount of pain and the folks at the hospital are doing all they can to help her manage it. To say this has been difficult is an understatement. Regardless, we're all just so happy and grateful that she survived. Seat belts save lives. She is expected to make a full recovery, but it's going to be a long road. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers!");
