Physical media authoring for the next Mihmiverse movie, "Three Bad Girls Who Find a Gun and Become Vampires," is nearing completion and the premiere is two short months away. As a result, writer/director Christopher R. Mihm is at the point where he must "finalize" and "lock" the film. This means specifically that your chances to contribute to the movie and get your name in the end credits are rapidly coming to an end!
In fact, we've been informed that the deadline to contribute to the production will be on January 15th, 2025, which is not very far away! SO, if you have ANY plans to get your name (or the name of your loved one(s), business, podcast, pet, etc.) in the end credits, you need to contribute to the film as soon as you possibly can! Don't hesitate and risk missing out!

It is with heavy hearts that we must report the untimely passing of a member of the Mihmiverse extended family, Jana Norland. Jana played a small role in "The Giant Spider" as the "Red Scare Lady," who famously asked the hero of the film, played by Daniel R. Sjerven, if Phantom Lake County was being invaded by the Russians. She reprised the role in 2021's "The Phantom Lake Kids in The Beast Walks Among Us." She was an avid lover of animals, especially horses, and was instrumental in securing the interior hay barn location used in several pivotal scenes in "The Giant Spider."
Jana was well known for her warmth, kindness, and generosity of spirit. The thoughts and prayers of the entire Mihmiverse go out to all those who knew and love her. She will be greatly missed.
The movie is now in the "tweaking" phase, wherein Mr. Mihm watches (and watches and re-watches) the film to look for any audio, video, and pacing imperfections that demand attention. That said, after having given it a full "watch-through" twice in the last twenty-four hours, Mr. Mihm reports that he's found very few abnormalities, and is THRILLED with how it has come together!
Since the project has reached this point, the proposed March 5th, 2025 premiere date is now fully set in stone—so write it into your calendar! ALSO, it should be noted that if you have not already contributed to the film and gotten your name in the credits, you are now absolutely running out of time to do so! Remember, just because the production has reached this stage, it doesn't mean there aren't still a bevy of necessary (and BIG) expenditures required before the world premiere, like the cost of physical media duplication, printing, postage, and the premiere event itself!
If you'd like to see your name in the end credits of this next great Mihmiverse film, go HERE! Don't miss out!

We've just been informed that the latest Mihmiverse film, "The Wad: The True Story Behind the Phantom Lake County Chewing Gum Disaster," has won an award at this past weekend's Care Awards Film Festival! We haven't been told WHICH award it's won, but we have received an update from the event that the film has, in fact, won AN award! Congratulations to the cast and crew for making an AWARD-WINNING movie!

Back by popular demand, writer/director Christopher R. Mihm has designed a brand new, full-sized (8.5" x 11"), 12-month wall calendar for 2025!
The theme for next year is "alternate reality Mihmiverse posters," wherein poster designs for actual 1950s B-movies are "adapted" to look like how they might have been had the films of the Mihmiverse came out back then! The example below demonstrates the theme by taking a poster design for the 1955 "big bug" movie "Tarantula!" and creates a version for the most popular Mihmiverse film to date, "The Giant Spider!"
As in previous years, the 2025 Mihmiverse wall calendar will be released in EXTREMELY limited quantities (less than 100 will be produced). They'll be individually numbered, personally signed by writer/director Christopher R. Mihm, and as always, once they're sold out, no more will be printed!
IMPORTANT! This item is currently PRE-ORDER ONLY and will ship in early December. However, we need to pre-sell a certain number of them to make sure they go into production! So, if you want to do you part to ensure that they get printed, pre-order yours NOW by going HERE!
— — —
Continue the tradition by adding some retro-monster-cheer to your decorations with the ninth annual Mihmverse holiday ornament!
This year's exclusive ornament is based on the giant, killer wad of gum from the newest Mihimverse film, "The Wad: The True Story Behind the Phantom Lake County Chewing Gum Disaster!"
Because stock is limited to no more than 25 ornaments, we highly recommend ordering NOW to ensure shipment in time for the holidays—AND to make sure you get one, because once they're sold out...no more will be made—EVER!
IMPORTANT! This item is ALSO pre-order only and will ship on or around December 1st!

Not only was the crowd bigger than last year's premiere (premiere attendance being something we've struggled with post-pandemic), but DVD & Blu-Ray sales were through the roof! For the first time in what feels like a LONG time, people were lining up after the movie to purchase not only the latest film, but back-catalog ones, as well. In fact, despite bringing a large number of copies of "The Wad," at the end of the night, the Mihmiverse crew found themselves with only ONE DVD left!
Writer/director Christopher R. Mihm snapped the following photo outside the theater as folks lined up to get into the event!
Today, everyone involved in the making of "The Wad" is exhausted, but undeniably happy and grateful for the most generous fan base in the world! AND, we're extra excited to announce that serious rumors are flying that the NEXT film, "Three Bad Girls Who Find a Gun and Become Vampires," will be holding its world premiere SOONER rather than later—as in EARLY 2025!
Stay tuned for more information as it develops. For now, if you weren't able to join us last night, but really want to see the new film, grab a copy by going HERE!
As always, the big event will take place at the historic Heights Theater in Columbia Heights, MN! A number of tickets remain (and we often get a few last-minute cancellations) so, if you'd like to attend the event but didn't purchase advance tickets, come on down to the theater and join us! However, we highly recommend showing up BEFORE the doors open at 6:30pm to ensure you're able to snag one (or more) of the unspoken-for seats!
In addition to the main attraction, attendees will enjoy a program complete with hand-picked, era-appropriate newsreels, classic trailers, appearances by most (if not all) of the cast and crew, autographs, photo opportunities, and a silent auction! DVDs, Blu-Rays, posters, and other merchandise will also be on sale!
In writer/director Christopher R. Mihm's ode to the B-movie classic "The Blob," KPHL Channel 6 Nightly News anchor Daniel Johnson (Elliott Mihm) hosts a "look back" at one of the most shocking events ever to transpire in Mihmiverse history. Through interviews with survivors and major players involved in the crisis, re-enactments, and never-before-seen archival footage, Mr. Johnson presents the complete and unabridged story of the wad of chewing gum that mutated, became sentient, grew to gargantuan proportions, and threatened the lives of every man, woman, and child in Phantom Lake County! Presented in a "faux documentary" style, film festivals are already lining up to include "The Wad" in their schedules! Join us at this open-to-the-public world premiere event to ensure you'll be one of the first people to see it before anyone else!
Advance tickets to the August 21st event are still on sale! If you would like to attend, go HERE and pick up your ticketsRIGHT NOW! Ticket sales have been brisk and the theater is getting full!
Premiere attendees will enjoy an evening of retro-cinema fun complete with hand-picked, era-appropriate newsreels, classic trailers, appearances by most (if not all) of the cast and crew, autographs, photo opportunities, a silent auction and more! DVDs, posters and other merchandise will be on sale! This is writer/director Christopher R. Mihm’s 19th film in as many years. If you've never attended a Mihmiverse world premiere, this is your chance to take part in a tradition that has continued for almost two decades! JOIN US!
If you have NOT yet ordered advance tickets to the August 21st world premiere of the next great Mihmiverse movie... why not!? What are you waiting for? What if it sells out and you miss it? How heartbroken will you feel then!? We don't want you to be sad! Order now!

We're excited to report that, as of this past weekend, principal photography of the NEXT NEXT Mihmiverse movie, "Three Bad Girls Who Find a Gun and Become Vampires," is complete!
Granted, this feat does come with a few asterisks, specifically in regards to the fact that 2019's "Queen of Snakes" was shot concurrently with 2018's "Guns of the Apocalypse" and principal photography of "The Phantom Lake Kids in The Unseen Invasion" was finished before "The Phantom Lake Kids in The Beast Walks Among Us" was able to hold its world premiere, which was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Still, this is the first time this has happened independently and without the "help" of an out-of-control virus shutting down the world!
In honor of this milestone for the 20th (!) Mihmiverse movie in as many years, writer/director Christopher R. Mihm sent us the following behind-the-scenes photo taken as the film was wrapped! In the photo, from left to right, we find Mr. Mihm himself (sporting a rather large Santa-Claus-style beard) and actors Alice Mihm holding what appears to be the film's script, Elliott Mihm flaunting a 'stash that would make Tom Selleck proud, newcomer Jackie Baker displaying the film's titular weapon, and Michael Kaiser who, strangely, appears to be channeling Abraham Lincoln with his choice of facial hair!
With everything we've seen coming out of this rather unique project, call us cautiously optimistic that we'll see this supernatural-Mihmiverse-crime-caper sooner rathar than later!
The 19th Mihmiverse film in as many years, "The Wad," is ready to be unleashed upon the masses, and that means it's time to get back to the Heights Theater in Columbia Heights, MN for a live, in-theater MIHMIVERSE WORLD PREMIERE!
Attendees will enjoy an evening of retro-inspired cinematic fun complete with hand-picked, era-appropriate newsreels, classic trailers, appearances by most (if not all) of the cast and crew, autographs, photo opportunities, a silent auction and more! DVDs, Blu-Rays, posters, exclusive collectibles, and other merchandise will be on sale!
Advance ticket holders will receive exclusive, collectible, individually-numbered tickets for every admission purchased. To be admitted, you MUST present your ticket(s) at the door. If you fail to do so, you will be required to pay AGAIN to enter—and only if tickets are available at the door! Collector's tickets will be mailed out in August!
The Heights Theater is located at 3951 Central Avenue Northeast in Columbia Heights, MN.
ALSO, the DVD & Blu-Ray of "The Wad" is now available for pre-order!
In writer/director Christopher R. Mihm's first faux-documentary, KPHL Channel 6 Nightly News anchor Daniel Johnson (Elliott Mihm) hosts a "look back" at one of the most shocking events ever to transpire in Mihmiverse history.
Both the DVD & Blu-Ray feature a high quality digital transfer of the film, a blooper reel, two photo galleries, feature-length commentary with writer/director Christopher R. Mihm, English subtitles, and much more!
Pre-order your copy today and you'll receive it as soon as it's available, which will be on or around the date of the August 21st world premiere!

New movie still alert!
Writer/director Christopher R. Mihm passed the following image from his next film, "Three Bad Girls Who Find a Gun and Become Vampires," along to us and we could not wait to post it for you to see! Check it out!
This is clearly an image of fan-favorite actor James Norgard going "full vampire." In the film Mr. Norgard's character is named "Pastor Goodman" and it is spelled out in the movie's synopsis that he is "an immortal, blood-sucking creature of the night." Also, since this film is meant to pay homage to the filmography of the Coen brothers, his character's name is no doubt a reference to the many appearances of actor John Goodman in their catalog.
Based on how cool Mr. Norgard looks with fangs, we're growing more and more excited to see how this next movie shapes up!

It is with heavy hearts that we must report the loss of a true icon of cinema, Roger Corman, at the age of 98. Mr. Corman was one of the most prolific filmmakers in history, having produced almost 500 films! Best known as the "King of B-Movies," Mr. Corman inspired countless filmmakers (including our own writer/director Christopher R. Mihm) and discovered a great number of big name movie stars and directors from Jack Nicholson to Francis Ford Coppola, Robert De Niro, James Cameron, and Martin Scorsese (to name a few)!
Writer/director Christopher R. Mihm was lucky enough to win the Roger & Julie Corman Intrepid Filmmaker Award (pictured above) in 2011 from the Fargo Fantastic Film Festival. It is prominently hung on his wall and he feels very proud to have earned the accolade. Mr. Corman will be greatly missed, but his influence will live forever in the art of cinema and in the hearts and minds of cinephiles and filmmakers everywhere!

The photo you see here was taken during a pre-production costume test for actor Alice Mihm, who most fans of the Mihmiverse should recognize as Evelyn Johnson, the leader of the "Toughs" gang (not their name!) from the Phantom Lake Kids movies. You can tell Alice is not playing Evelyn in this new film because she's wearing glasses and has bangs!
Principal photography of "Three Bad Girls Who Find a Gun and Become Vampires" is scheduled to begin in two short weeks! The cast and crew are excited to bring this movie to life and cannot wait to start filming writer/director Christopher R. Mihm's ode to "teensploitation" films of the 1950s and the cinematic oeuvre of the Coen Brothers!
Thursday, April 11, 2024
Contributor credits for "The Wad: The True Story Behind the Phantom Lake County Chewing Gum Disaster" are officially closed! We'd like to extend a hearty THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to the production and helped make it possible. As of today, writer/director Christopher R. Mihm still plans to release the film at some point during the coming summer. As soon as we have an exact date nailed down, we promise to reveal it right here!
Contributor credits will remain available for the next 48 hours, but the opportunity to help us finish the first-ever Mihmiverse mockumentary will cease to exist shortly thereafter! Don't miss out! Contribute while you still can! There really are few things as thrilling as seeing your name in the credits of a movie! Plus, you'll receive a very cool, limited-edition frame-worthy document certifying your contribution to the project! DO IT!

We've just been informed that writer/director Christopher R. Mihm has decided to make yet ANOTHER film in addition to his currently-in-production project, "Three Bad Girls Who Find a Gun and Become Vampires!" However, we've also been informed that this next-next film will be made completely using artificial intelligence systems like ChatGPT and the Sora OpenAI video generator! This will allow him to create films that won't require human actors, long production schedules, or talent of any kind!
Given how outspoken Mr. Mihm has been about his feelings that A.I. systems will eventually destroy the ability for independent filmmakers like himself to make any kid of living doing what he does, it's shocking to hear that he has decided to take this path. The Mihmiverse has always seemingly prided itself on using practical effects and real people and locations. As such, we're at a loss to understand this move. Hopefully it turns out to be a joke...

Today is an exciting day in the Mihmiverse!
Remember how last week we mentioned that writer/director Christopher R. Mihm was supposedly working on the script for the Mihmiverse movie to follow "The Wad?" Well, not only do we have confirmation of that rumor, we've been informed that the script is DONE and pre-production has ALREADY started!
According to Mr. Mihm, this next film is an ode to "teensploitation" films of the 1950s and the cinematic oeuvre of the Coen Brothers! In it, three female juvenile delinquents (unsurprisingly) obtain a firearm and, just for the thrill of it, start robbing the fine folks of New Berlin. Unfortunately, their crime spree takes an unexpected turn after they mug and nearly murder the gambling-addicted pastor of the local church—who turns out to be an immortal, blood-sucking creature of the night! Hijinks ensue when the vampiric padre hires a pair of hitmen to help him retrieve his stolen cash and seek revenge against the three bad girls responsible!
This will be the 20th Christopher R. Mihm feature film in as many years! Color all of us here at SaintEuphoria.com intrigued to hear that this next movie is going to continue stretching the definition of what a Mihmiverse film can be, particularly since this year brings a mockumentary ("The Wad") and next year promises a tribute to the work of indie-film auteurs (and famed Minnesota filmmakers) Joel and Ethan Coen!
Tuesday, March 19, 2024
We've just received word that, with the completion of "The Wad: The True Story Behind the Phantom Lake County Chewing Gum Disaster," writer/director Christopher R. Mihm has begun writing the script for the NEXT movie! We don't have many details to share, unfortunately, but we couldn't wait to let you know!
As always, when we learn more, we'll post it here! Stay tuned!
Join us and be one of the first people to catch a glimpse of "The Wad!" Also, did we mention this event is 100% FREE!?

Saturday, March 9, 2024 HAPPY MONSTER DAY!
On this special day in 2006, "The Monster of Phantom Lake" held its world premiere at the Heights Theater to a near-sold-out crowd. As soon as it was released, the film began to receive positive press and, to this day, still earns great reviews and remains a perennial favorite. It continues to screen all over the world and has appeared in countless film festivals and earned numerous awards.
Dubbed "the little movie that could," "The Monster of Phantom Lake" is where the Mihmiverse officially began, introducing the ever-growing fan base to such staples as the Jackson family, "A-Rockin', A-Rollin', All the Way A-Ramblin'," the Canoe Cops, the "flashlight thing," and much, much more!
Just remember, without "The Monster of Phantom Lake," we would never have been introduced to this enduring and ever-expanding universe! So, don't forget to tell everyone you know "HAPPY MONSTER DAY" and encourage them to check out the entire Mihmiverse catalog!

Thursday, February 22, 2024 FANTASTIC NEWS!
We've just received word that, as of today's date, writer/director Christopher R. Mihm has completed his "rough draft" edit of his next film, "The Wad: The True Story Behind the Phantom Lake County Chewing Gum Disaster!" Next steps involve several rounds of tweaking the movie to fix any pacing, visual, or audio issues, color correcting (this one's in color!), and figuring out how to cut a trailer.
With this first edit complete, it means that, barring anything absolutely catastrophic happening, the film WILL be released this year! It ALSO means that if you have not already contributed to the film and gotten your name in the credits, you are now officially running out of time to do so! Remember, just because the production has reached this stage, it doesn't mean there aren't a bunch of big expenses looming on the horizon, like the cost of physical media duplication, printing, postage, and the world premiere!
If you'd like to see your name in the end credits of this next great Mihmiverse film, go HERE! Every little bit helps to keep this movie universe alive!

Just an FYI that if you are someone who ordered a "wanted poster" to appear in the next Mihmiverse film, "The Wad: The True Story Behind the Phantom Lake County Chewing Gum Disaster, we are happy to report that writer/director Christopher R. Mihm has finished all of the scenes that required your poster! As a result, it has been put it in an envelope and is now on its way to you! Watch your mailbox! It should be arriving soon!
Remember, these are SCREEN-USED props which will be seen in the finished film. The Mihmiverse production crew was specifically directed and made a point to ensure that everyone's poster is visible within the scenes they were needed!
The film is nearing completion and Mr. Mihm plans to release it later this year. On behalf of the entire cast & crew, we thank everyone who made this particular contribution and hope you enjoy your VERY unique Mihmiverse collectible!
In the meantime, if you'd like to help make sure the production doesn't run out of funds before it's able to release the film (and get your name in the end credits!), please contribute to the film by going HERE!

The following behind-the-scenes photo was taken by script supervisor Alice Mihm (who is best known for playing Evelyn Johnson in the Phantom Lake Kids films). Check it out!
According to the powers-that-be, only one more day of filming remains before everything is "in the can." The only hold-up right now has to do with securing the right location. It is expected that any delays should be cleared up within the next week or so!
In the meantime, the film still desperately needs contributions from fans like you! If you'd like to see your name in the end credits AND guarantee this project is able to be completed, go HERE and contribute now!
